The Quest for Quality – ODIN 2026
ODIN Test Conference 2026 invites you on a journey into the landscape of quality - where experience, curiosity, and professional judgment serve as your compass when the map is incomplete.
As testers and quality professionals, we are constantly venturing into new terrain. We set out on expeditions, investigate systems we do not fully know, ask questions where others rush ahead, and uncover both hidden risks and unexpected discoveries along the way.
At ODIN, we want to gather the stories from these expeditions: what you have uncovered, what you have learned, and what has made your work just a little better than before. We are looking for talks that share real-world experience - honest accounts of choices made, obstacles encountered, and insights that emerged when you took the time to explore the landscape properly. Quality is not a destination; it is something we must continuously investigate, understand, and improve.
We welcome contributions that shed light on one or more of the following areas:
Unexplored Testing Landscapes
How do you identify and explore new areas within quality and testing? How do you find direction when requirements are unclear and risks are hidden? What approaches help you navigate the unknown?
Hidden Challenges and Unexpected Discoveries
Share experiences with obstacles that appeared along the way - technical, organizational, or human - and how they led to new understanding, better practices, or a change of course.
Tools That Light the Way
How have test automation, AI support, analytics tools, or other aids helped you uncover risk, streamline work, or strengthen quality? What has worked in practice - and why?
The People on the Journey Toward Quality
Quality is created together. How are teams, collaboration, and leadership affected when you work systematically with improvement? How do you foster learning, trust, and shared ownership of quality?
Personal Growth and Mastery
How has your journey in the testing profession shaped you as a tester, leader, or specialist? Which experiences have made you more confident in your own judgment - even when the way forward was not obvious?
If you have a story that does not quite fit these points - bring it anyway. Some of the most important insights lie off the route we originally planned.
