November's DAMA Norway Book Club pick is "Igniting the Data Dance: Orchestrating Governance, Insight, and Transformation" by Dr. Joe Perez, and we'll be discussing it live with the author in a 30-minute online session.

Joe has spent 40+ years in government and higher education watching organisations struggle with exactly this, and the book is his answer to it. It builds a governance framework around the word GOVERNANCE itself, but it's not a dry manual. Joe uses history and stories to make the case that governance is a living discipline, not a one-time project.

This is an informal digital meetup, a chance to listen, ask questions, and exchange perspectives with others working in data. If you're interested in governance, culture or the people side of data, you're very welcome to join.
