Vidar Slåtten currently holds the role of Leading advisor data engineering in Equinor. Before that he spent his time building ML platforms, data pipelines and web applications in various Equinor units, sampling a wide range of it business areas, from oil and gas exploration, via offshore wind farms, to gas trading. Prior to that he even spent some years writing a PhD on the topic of model-driven engineering of reliable systems using formal software verification techniques.

Today's interests are mainly focused around the data engineering discipline, including the recent challenge of creating data products that are suitable also for AI agents to consume.
