We're continuing the DAMA Book Club series after the summer with a new online session where we'll meet Aakriti Agrawal Kim, MBA, CDMP, ADGP, data governance practitioner and author.

In this session, we'll talk about ideas from her book "Data Governance Change Management: From Drift to Direction- Why Every Data Leader Needs an ANCHOR", where Aakriti explores why governance initiatives lose momentum over time and what it takes to anchor them so change actually sticks. The book introduces the ANCHOR model, a practical framework for building real buy-in, handling resistance, and making governance change stick. It's written for those of us working in the middle: between strategy and execution, between what leadership wants and what teams are ready for.

This is an informal digital meetup, a chance to listen, ask questions, and exchange perspectives with others working in data.
